John Maxwell frequently says that the most power motivational principle in the world is this: “People see, People do.”
That shouldn’t be a hard concept for us to accept. We all act a little bit like those who we are around the most. We act a little bit like our parents, talk a little bit like our friends, and reflect those we spend the most time with. Whether we are aware of it at the time or not, we know looking back that we become like those who we are with frequently.
This principle could greatly transform your character. Because you understand that it’s simple: If I want to be more like Christ, then I must spend more time with him. I’ve got to learn more about him, how he responds, what he does, and what he’s like. Then slowly but surely, I’ll become more like him.
So who are you becoming more like?
